Why did she Cry? or Is it Ok for men to Cry?

I happen to spend the whole weekend in fun but a misstep happened to end with a little bit of sadness.I happen to go to the home of a friend who had invited me for dinner and I had a very delicious dinner which is very different from the Indian food I eat normally.I happened to know from her that her roomie too helped to wonderfully make some dishes and I would like to call her roomie `J`. So after the dinner I happen to play cards with her friends and we started out in good spirits. But as time went on the game grew more serious and more funny too coz I,`J` and all of us were trying to pull each other down and trying to stay on the winning streak. So at some point in the game I and some other people where more often speaking in some common language and `J` did not happen to know that language, and after some time she was in a verge to loose the entire game and she also came to the verge of crying and left the game in the middle.

I was shocked and others might be upset when we saw this as we thought that she could have told us people to shut up speaking in common language but she did not as she was very polite but kept her emotions in her mind and cried all of a sudden. This put me a thought inside me whether the other people (me & co)should have acted more maturely or she should have acted more mature and told us to not speak the language which would have been more good than feeling bad and leaving the game.

I think the good solution would be that I & co should not have spoken in the common language but I also believe that her say would have the greater value if she would have told us to stop.As she did not tell us we happen to continue our conversation which ended the game in a sour note :(

Soo I checked on with google to know what the world tells about women crying in a social meet in general.I happen to find this link inAbout.com

I also thought to myself how I would have reacted in this situation which would not have been crying but may be shouting and saying stop it.

Though it affected me to think that have I acted soo rude? I could not find a very big fault with my actions( I m faulty still).

It also made me to think that ,though this may not be a general case it left me with question,Why does the women behave more differently than men in a emotional situation though they want to be in par with men in all things?(Kind note ladies: I m not an anti feminist)

This also made me to realize a advice told to me by a friend of mine ‘You fellow do always talk in English if you are in an uncommon territory’.(This friend of mine is soo much good)

May be I would try to be a better gentleman :)

I also found a intresting link about men crying in TimesOnline

J,

people should have some etiquette while in the group.
Everyone should speak in the same language. If not then it is rude.

If you don't speak in common language and stick to your hood language, you need to learn social behavior.

Its obvious when in group always speak in the language understood by everyone around.

You may delete the comment after that. Also, if you want to be a "blogger", face the comments , do not delete those.

Try to learn some social manners you are out of "Tamil Nadu" now!!!
