Google Analytics on ASP.NET mobile site

Hello...
I want to use Google analytics for the mobile site of my company and I was goggling to find an example to do it because I know that the integration of analytics to mobile site is different because many mobile browsers does not support the now ubiquitous javascript..but I had some luck atlast and found an example to use it in php site which I used to satisfy my need.. To make life little easy for others I am blogging to help others...

Most of the time you will be adding the new site and you can do it by clicking on this option

and then select this radio button

then click on continue..

Then on the this screen come down a little bit and select the "Advanced" tab and you will find an option "A site build for mobile phone" select that and after that select the language in our case which is "ASPX"

 

 

Copy and paste the code as told in the instruction and you are good to do tracking on your mobile site and provide better UX for your customers.

Irresponsible Kid or Parent or Society?

One evening I was having coffee along with my friend in Starbucks at 35th&State just talking about our lives,studies,economy and like.We had finished our latte and then had an free Joe by showing the Starbucks preferred card.Really you get free coffee people if you don't know.At this time something happened which made me to write this blog..

Three kids came to Starbucks,a girl and two other guys.Two of them went for coffee and the other guy sat down at the end of the sofa and started covering his head and face with hoodie and I was wondering, Is this guy afraid of people in Starbucks?I thought that I will not mind his business and may be the kid is ashamed of the strangers.After some time the other kids came down and sat along with him and there was the girl getting close to him after having the coffee. After few minutes one of the guy left leaving the guy and  the girl alone in Starbucks with strangers.

After few minutes my friend was nagging me to change place and pushing me to leave the sofa.I asked him why do we want to change and by that time I happened to see the two kids, and they where together into the hoodie.I felt something uncomfortable with Indian standard in public is happening.I restrained my friend to sit down and do his work and to see if the kids do bother to think that there are strangers all around them and they would not be comfortable with their actions. But the Kids knew the Best hard truth that fellow Americans will not mind into their business and the foreign kids having coffee will not dare,so they continued their canoodling and there happen to be an Starbucks employee enjoying her coffee and no one ever dared to say No to the actions of the kids but every one smiling an awkward smile including me . I was wondering if the Cinderella story as the kids will be thinking of what they are doing will be stopped by an Evil witch. Yes the Evil witch came after some time as police man and he dared to remove the hood and telling the kids to leave which they readily agreed and left unhappy.

That left me with a big Questions,Did parents fail to teach the little girl what is right and wrong?Would some one saying pack up kids hurt them and if it did would that little hurt be Good or Bad?Is the society setting a precedent of selfishness saying do what you got to do until it does not infringe on me even if it means harming yourself I will not bother?Is everyone irresponsible by saying that it his or her wish though they know something is not good? Is there any definitions for moral or public decency?Is it culture which many Asian countries so look ahead to ape more?Is privacy and freedom given so much?

Though in this case the kids have responsibility for their ages I think their parents have more responsible and society had much of telling them to follow some public behavior which is acceptable to most even if they did not know that kids personally.This open up another Pandora's box,why do you want to push your opinion on others and bully them?Which throws things in the middle of the sea with no place to hold and make yourself drown. Is our society drowning?Just a point,I just like to think there should be a steering to ride safe in car and its same everywhere .If we think that holding the steering for long time will hurt the handle and decide to take both hand of it we are sure of the outcome.I reserve my comment,Analyze world around you and decide,kind of irresponsible still.

Wondering how old the kids, they would be around 13-14years.

Does God Exist???

This is one of the most asked and highly contested question all around the world . For some people god cease to exist because they think, why would the god who created him good allow his fellow human being to suffer from pain or disease?

Because they forget to think that god had given them a heart not to curse or accuse god but to show grace to the suffering person.But the sad part is most of the humans who want to say there is NO god always look to find the right scene and they never think that the right scene found is a scene they are supposed to act. What a pity?

There are some other humans who are Intellects and consider that god does not exist because there is part of  science that they have studied tell them that god does not exist because they would break the principles of science known to them, but I think they are not ready to accept that the learning has never ceased in humans and the other part of unknown science might reveal the existence of god .

The intellects in many circumstances have forgot that there are many cases which the science cannot explain though it exist within the scope to science known to them and they are not ready to accept the existence of god still, but attribute these occurrences to probability or some mathematical notation. Even here the heart is not ready to accept the scene and act, though the director(God) says to act.

For some people God does not exist because,  they see the abuses of the people who say there is God .They forget to think that even these Godly abusive people who say that there is God are same as them when they have not really understood the scene they have been asked to play. Still the God haters heart are just closed to accept facts but just ready to close their eyes and say based on the other actor ‘God does not exist’.

But there exist some humans Labeled ‘Pious’ ‘Religious’ ‘Godly’ who say that there is God and fight for it but I have questions in me to ask these people,Does your eyes and heart are open to see and accept the scene you have been placed to help other people or just for you to say God take care of them ?

I think ,me and others whoever might be cannot reject that god does not exist because god exist everywhere and all things does not ‘Just Happen’ or happen because of ‘Just Chance’.Everything is ordered even in a chaos and the human mind is not able to understand it.The cases understood in a chaos  by man can be attributed as science but he never did want  to acknowledge the person who understood the whole  of the chaotic things unknown to him as God but want to say from the chaotic things he understood there is No God or God does not exist because his eyes have not still seen the order in other chaotic things but see the whole things as just chaotic.

To finish off there are people who believe that God exist and show the world around God exist and there is no ceasing of humans who say God does not exist because many are not ready to do the part given for them to do.. If god exist how many Gods or just a God exist? It throws up another question which God Exist …

Christians and abortion

I have never written any controversial topics in my Blog and I have always been not ready to do one. But I thought that if some one has the gift to write they have to write what they feel in their heart about any topic and sooo with long pauses I thought to write down on my blog about abortion.This has been an very important ethical and political issue in US.

Inspiration

I once heard some radio program on a Evangelical radio station about why Christians opposing abortion?, and they gave some points which does not fit even in Christian context but even people of other faiths or no faith can relate too. The 4 main points discussed are

1.Size

People who go with abortion say that the fetus is very small and so it is not a big issue to do abortion but the important point is all humans are equal whether they are small or big.The fetus deserves the same right as an grown human or we cannot say goliath deserves something more than David coz he is big in size or a 1 day old baby is same as a 80 year old person in respective to have the liberty to live. I think this fits the context here. If some one say NO to this they can be some one who says that all humans are not equal.

2.Level of Development

If some one is ready to kill a life on the level of development they need to look around the world and them too. Because they might be less developed in intelligence to another human or they might not be tall as another one and they must be having something which is less developed than some one in the globe, so I think any one will not dare to kill a fetus based on the level of development does not deserve to have a life for himself or herself. To project my opinion is an extreme perspective I m sure that children with Special needs are human like the normal children and they have the right to live too.

3.Environment

Some one cannot tell that as the fetus is still in the mothers womb it can be aborted coz its never been to the ‘Real’ world.I think that the person who lives on the Amazon jungle has the same right to life to a person in New York so does an unborn child has the right to live before it comes out in the world from the womb.

4.Degree of Dependency

if a life can be aborted based on the level of dependency coz most of the people live coz of eating medicine. So a fetus which depend on mother for it survival cannot be neglected as it is same to a living human who is 40years old and needs medicine so that he does not get himself killed coz of the heart disease.

This 4 points are called SLED.

But there are people who oppose abortion even in very difficult circumstance like incest,rape,when mothers life is in danger and I don’t agree with them because this is something out of hand and there should be some level of flexibility in dealing with situations. The best way to keep some one from the issue of abortion is safe sex or it could be abstinence or good advice from friends and family too.

Super Bowl 43 is Over

Ohhh Its time that the foot ball has got over for this season with the super bowl at Florida. Its time again the Big boy Steelers from Pittsburg have won their 6th super bowl with a score of 27-23 against the Cardinals and added some silver to their steel.

It was a very nice game to watch and a very nice performance by Bruce during Half time. But I would say that the important part of the game was when Steelers defensive linebacker James Harrison intercepted a pass from Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner and ran across the whole of 100 yards for a touchdown.I think that was a record too.It was a very best moment in the game and in a fraction of time the score board swinging to 17-7 would have been pathetic to watch if I had been an cardinal fan but for heavens sake I was a Steelers fan.Another important good outcome of the game was for the Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, 36, who became the youngest coach to win a Super Bowl and the second African American to be a Super Bowl winning coach after Tony Dungy.

I m sure that all the people single,doubles(I mean married,with gf,bf, or partner) would have enjoyed the game but the people who where drinking beer and of course people drinking all kinds of drinks would have enjoyed the game the most coz I think a friend of mine did enjoy it very well. He drowned 8 bottles of beer and still was a very loyal supporter of Steelers and cheering for them and to my surprise he was very much cheering good.

 

The best part is he was smoking and trying to stop smoking by attending some class which I think should be very much appreciated.

Anyway coming back to the game, the Biggies party must have been cut short  or some laid to rest in peace because of the economic crisis must be a heart breaking news for some elite few  but  the 70,000 people who had come to watch the game and the millions who watched the game through TV and followed the game through twitter or some source in Internet would had a great time at least few hours to forget the chaos around them and say `All things are Good`.

From politics Obamas announcement of troop cut from Iraq before the next super bowl has to be appreciated thus making sure that own boys in defense will have a good time in home after all the hard time in Iraq.

So lets wait for the 44th super bowl and I hope to see my Home team Chicago Bears to be there. :)

Hours before Super Bowl 43 and commercials(ads)

Now is the time for super bowl 43 in my host country.This game is been played between Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.The Cardinals seen to be the Kid in the super bowl and Steelers seem to be the big brother in super bowl.I think the kid deserve the prize than the big brother this time .. Take a break Big bro, but it seems that the Big bro want the small kids lollipop because chocolate bar does not taste good than a lollipop.huum nasty world haa .

This is also the time for booze and more booze but I m sure more people love to see the games just to spend more time with friends,spend time with family or to spend more time with booze.Sounds something hysterical?? I don’t think so.  There could also be many people who enjoy the game alone whom many like to call sadistic and the funny part is the people who watch the game alone call people in the  other camp as morons.. funny to watch this unspoken enmity if someone is not part of the super bowl like ME. I think this would be the best ad in the entire super bowl 43 if they would have made something like that.

But I came to know through the official site nfl.com that there will be a show by Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band during the half time.I m sure that these people will rock.I also came to know that the channel that broadcast the super bowl will not broadcast the sensational PETA  super bowl ad.Does it sound the main broadcast partner is in line with the meat packers and trying to push the vegetable vendors to the ground??Or Is it a nod to conservative views?  But I was chilled to my bones when  I read in the internet that 206 Million dollars are going to be spent for the ad spots during the game.OMG!!!. What would be the best ads during this seasons game? Will it be some ad for the beer or ,lingerie or,courier or some other content?Looking ahead to see it …. I hope to write a new post soon about the ads soon.

There is also big questions rising for the money spend for ads,What would be the profit for the companies from this ads who are spending the million dollars in this time of recession?Are they trying to stimulate the American economy with the money they have hoarded in their bank lockers by showing ads to the people and coxing them to spend too?? Are the companies saying to the people we can still flex the muscles?? Its a scenario worth watching.I m sure that the world will also be watching too.

But for me its another day in the year and I m sure that good Samaritans will be posting the ads in Youtube as soon as the game is over and I hope to catch it and watch over the effects of the ad on American people and ME.

I have no idea about copyright stuff and I think I m not messing around with that stuff by having a few links in my post. :)
